The IoT lab is a 24,000 square foot workspace dedicated to supporting collaboration and innovation for the Internet of Things. Indesign Named One of The Best Places to Work – 8 years in a row!

Indesign, LLC was recently named as one of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Indiana. This is the 8th consecutive year for Indesign to be selected for this award. Indesign was one of a small number of companies recognized for Hall of Fame status among the award winners, based on the number of years that Indesign has received this award. The awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in the state of Indiana. The top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 23 other states. Indesign’s Executive VP, Kathy Rima, commented “We are thrilled to once again be selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana and are especially honored to receive the Hall of Fame designation. Indesign, LLC Celebrates Its 20 Year Anniversary

Indesign, LLC, an Indianapolis-based engineering design firm, celebrated its 20th year in business this month. The company was originally established in February 1997 by a group of former AT&T/Bell Labs engineers. Since its start in 1997, Indesign has grown to 72 employees, including hardware engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers. Indesign develops high-tech products for the medical, consumer, military, and industrial sectors. “Technology has changed dramatically in the past 20 years since our formation,” said Jerry Gotway, President-CEO of Indesign. “Today we are designing many wireless products, as well as software intensive products with Linux and Android operating systems. 2016 Edison Gold Award™ Winner

On April 21, 2016, a Milwaukee startup company - ONKÖL - took top honors at the 2016 Edison Awards. ONKÖL won the 2016 Edison Gold Award™ in Health and Wellness - Safety & Health Monitoring. The company received the award for its innovative ONKÖL hub. The award was given at the black-tie Edison Awards Gala held at the historic Capitale ballroom in New York City. Indesign, LLC, an Indianapolis engineering design company, developed the electrical hardware and the embedded software for the ONKÖL hub. The ONKÖL hub allows family members to stay connected with elderly loved ones by remotely monitoring activity from the loved ones’ health care devices.
