The team at Indesign has a long history of community involvement and is proud to continue serving our community.

Meals on Wheels Indesign, LLC

Meals on Wheels

Indesigners have a strong history of involvement with Meals on Wheels. The Indesign team delivers meals to homebound citizens and seniors in the local community.

It’s always very satisfying to see the blue cooler rolling behind an Indesign member as they walk down the hall to go do their delivery.

Community Involvement - Holiday Giving Indesign, LLC

Holiday Giving

For many years Indesigners have helped the less fortunate families in our community during the holiday season. Through a local organization our team contributes time, effort and gifts to help make the holidays happier for families in need.

Passport to Hi-Tech Indesign, LLC

Passport to Hi-Tech

Passport to Hi-Tech is an event aimed at encouraging girls ages 7 to 12 to learn about careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).

It is held every spring at Conner Prairie. Indesign has participated in this event with a booth showcasing hands-on experiments and interactive exhibits.

Local Support Indesign, LLC

Local School Support in Lawrence Township

Indesign was presented with the Key to the Township as a Partner in Education. Here are some of the programs and activities we have supported in the past and continue to support going forward:

STEM

Indesigners lead a weekly after-school program to teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) lessons to a group of 3rd to 5th graders. The students participate in fun experiments and learn about potential careers in STEM fields.

Robotics

Indesigners serve as technical advisors to a VEX robotics team at a local middle school. The team meets weekly and we provide support and encouragement for students that love working with robots.

Local School Museum Build

Indesigners volunteered their time, expertise; equipment and enthusiasm in helping the students of a local elementary school build a museum in the entrance to the school.

Facility Tour for Local School

Through the local school system we organize student tours through our facility. This enables students to get an idea of what it means to be an engineer.

Tutoring and Mentoring

Through the local school system we participate in a tutoring and mentoring program with elementary through high school aged children. Several Indesigners spend regular time during the school year assisting these students. The benefits go both ways. Indesigners enjoy giving to the students as much as the students benefit from time spent working on school work.

Indesign has been the recipient of Several Community Service Awards in the city and township of Lawrence.
