Responsibilities include:

  • Project Integration – develop project management plan, monitor status, and issue change requests as needed.
  • Project Scope Management – create Statements of Work (SOW), collect requirements, define scope, and create work breakdown structures.
  • Project Schedule – create and manage detailed project schedules, negotiating updates with clients as needed. Drive schedules, eliminating potential road blocks.
  • Client Satisfaction – responsible for building strong client relationships and managing the overall client interface.
  • Farming – work with clients to identify future work opportunities
  • Development Cost – create and manage project budgets. Work with accounting to obtain POs and issue invoices. Negotiate budget increases when necessary
  • Quality – define project quality goals, and monitor and report progress. Ensure that Indesign development processes are implemented for the project. Work with other project managers to define, implement, and update project management processes
  • Staffing – define resources required for projects, work through staffing process to obtain necessary resources, define roles and responsibilities, manage team activities, and obtain additional staffing if needed.
  • Communication – identify stakeholders, develop communication plan, and distribute information appropriately. Track and report status
  • Risk Management – identify project risks, plan and execute risk management throughout projects.
  • Contracts – work with contract manager to put all needed contracts, SOWs, and POs in place. Review contract and ensure compliance with all contract requirements for the project.

MUST be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Possess at least a four-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in product development and project management, including experience working with clients.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Always conduct work in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Perform all functions in a nondiscriminatory manner.
  • Have ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Possess excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good knowledge of Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Have ability to work with others to remove potential road blocks (e.g. schedule, resources).
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to project success, doing what is needed to support team.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, vendors, co-workers and managers.

DESIREABLE to meet the following requirements:

  • Experience using project management software (i.e. Microsoft Project).
  • Possess excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience introducing products into factory production.
