Work That Matters, With People Who Care

We design premium electronic engineering solutions, but our people and culture are what truly set us apart. If you’re committed to doing great work, enjoy a variety of challenging projects, and appreciate supportive, thoughtful teammates, you’ll feel at home here. It’s why we’re a multi-year winner on the Best Places to Work and Top Workplaces list.

Four Reasons to Work at Indesign

Meaningful and Challenging Projects

At Indesign, engineers work on real-world products across a wide range of industries, including medical, consumer, industrial, and military. You’ll be involved throughout the full product lifecycle, from early concept through design and pilot production. Project work at Indesign can be intense, but it rewards curiosity, practical thinking, and care for the details.

Technical Strength Through Teamwork

We believe great engineering happens through collaboration. Electrical, firmware, mechanical, and test engineers work closely together, drawing on deep technical expertise and decades of collective experience. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who are generous with their knowledge and open to discussion, creating an environment where asking questions, sharing ideas, and challenging assumptions leads to better outcomes for everyone.

We’re Employee-Owned

As an employee-owned company, Indesign gives engineers real ownership in both their work and the success of the business. You’re trusted to take responsibility, make decisions, and move projects forward with confidence. When the company succeeds, that success is shared, reinforcing accountability, pride in the work, and a sense of connection to what we build together.

Work Hard/Play Hard

We take engineering seriously, and we take care of our people just as seriously. We believe the best work comes from balanced individuals who feel supported, respected, and fulfilled, not burned out. Day-to-day coordination, shared wins, and time spent together help build strong relationships, making Indesign a place where performance and culture reinforce each other.

Our Core Values

These values guide how we work with one another and with our clients every day. They shape our decisions, influence how we work together, and set clear expectations for how we show up. Whether working internally or solving electronics problems for our clients, we bring the same collaborative spirit, accountability, and depth of expertise to everything we do.

Respect

Different perspectives improve our work, and we treat your perspectives with care. We listen before responding, engage thoughtfully, and recognize the experience each person brings to the table. Even when alignment takes effort, we approach one another with professionalism and a shared commitment to moving forward constructively.

Integrity

Engineering rarely follows a straight path, and we’re honest about that reality. When demands arise, we communicate clearly, take responsibility for outcomes, and address issues directly. Our clients and teammates rely on us because we do what we say we’ll do and speak up when something needs attention.

Teamwork

Complex problems require more than individual expertise. We work across disciplines, exchange ideas freely, and rely on one another’s strengths to move projects forward. By sharing knowledge and supporting each other, we deliver outcomes that are stronger than anything we could achieve on our own.

Excellence

We hold ourselves to high standards in everything we do. From early design decisions to production-ready solutions, we apply rigor, attention to detail, and disciplined execution. Excellence means delivering work that performs reliably, meets real-world requirements, and reflects a high level of quality.
