Indesign, LLC Receives Top Workplaces Award

Indesign, LLC has been selected as one of Central Indiana’s Top Workplaces based on a survey conducted for the Indianapolis Star newspaper. This is the fifth consecutive year that Indesign has been selected for the Top Workplaces award. Indesign was ranked in the small companies’ category for the award. The Top Workplaces rankings are determined based on employee feedback.

The Indianapolis Star partnered with Philadelphia-based WorkplaceDynamics, the employee survey firm, to determine the region’s Top Workplaces. The Top Workplaces survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

The employee survey included 22 questions covering areas such as company values, leadership, management, benefits, pay, growth opportunities, training, appreciation, retention and work/life balance. Indesign Named One of The Best Places to Work

Indesign, LLC was recently named as one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in Indiana, making this the 6th consecutive year to be selected.

Winners were selected from four categories:

Small-sized companies (15-74 US employees)
Medium-sized companies (75-249 US employees)
Large-sized companies (250-999 US employees)
Major-sized companies (1,000+ US employees)

The top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 23 other states. This year there were a record tying 100 Indiana companies selected for this award.

Indesign Exhibits at 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES®)

Indesign, LLC, an Indianapolis based engineering design firm, is exhibiting at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show – January 6 – 9, 2015. This is Indesign’s 18th year to exhibit at the International CES.

The 2015 International CES® is the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, featuring more than 3,600 exhibitors unveiling the latest consumer technologies across the entire ecosystem of consumer technologies. Exhibitors include manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technologies. Indesign Exhibits at Super Mobility Week – 2014 CTIA Wireless Technology Event

Indesign is one of more than 1,100 exhibitors at the Super Mobility Week event being held on September 9 – 11, 2014. Super Mobility Week is hosted by CTIA – the Wireless Association® – at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas. Super Mobility Week is the most comprehensive marketplace for mobile innovation and technology in North America. Engineering Design Firm, Indesign, LLC, Grows Product Development Staff

Indianapolis based design engineering firm, Indesign, LLC, has continued to grow its product development team, adding 11 new people to the company during the period from June 2013 through June 2014. These staff additions were in a variety of disciplines: electrical engineering, software/firmware engineering, mechanical engineering, printed circuit board design, information technology, and project management. This increases the total staff size for Indesign to 76 employees.

Indesign is one of the premier embedded software and hardware design engineering firms in the country, developing high-tech electronic products for a broad client base. The Top Workplaces rankings are determined based on employee feedback.

The Top Workplaces awards were announced in the Indianapolis Star newspaper on April 20th. The Indy Star article reported that “Indesign goes beyond keeping engineers wired puzzling over the next challenge to provide flexible, family-friendly scheduling and a team-focused atmosphere with literal buy-in at all levels.”

Indesign received a special award for Communications in the TopWorkplaces survey this year. Indesign, LLC Expands Android Development Capability

Indesign, LLC, a nationally recognized engineering design firm specializing in electronic product development, has expanded its design capability for embedded system products utilizing Android operating systems. Indesign engineers have recently completed several new product developments which included extensive Android embedded software design.

The Android operating system is becoming a preferred OS for many different types of products. The extensive presence in the marketplace of smartphones, tablets and feature-rich touchscreen devices has created a desire to include similar types of user interfaces in other products. Products with Android operating systems are now being used in a wide variety of markets, such as medical, industrial, transportation, consumer electronics, etc.

Indesign, LLC, Expands Its Engineering Facility

Indesign, LLC, a multi-discipline engineering design firm specializing in electronic product development, celebrated an expansion of its design engineering facility this week. The new addition to its facility increases the size of the company’s offices at 8225 E. 56th Street to a total of 30,000 square feet.

The facility expansion will allow the company to add 15 more engineering staff members to its existing staff of 70 persons. The added space provides offices for engineering, project management, and IT teams. The facility expansion also adds engineering labs and conference room facilities.
