Company: Community Involvement

  • Meals on Wheels

Indesigners have a strong history of involvement with the community. 15 or more recipients have meals delivered to them by our Meals on Wheels team three to four times each month. It's always great to see the blue cooler rolling behind an Indesign member as they walk down the hall to start their delivery.

  • Holiday Giving

An annual tradition, Indesigners have helped less fortunate families in our community during the holiday season. Through a local organization our team contributes time, effort and gifts during this season to help make the holidays happier.

  • Habitat for Humanity

Several Indesigners participate with Habitat for Humanity to build affordable new homes. These volunteers are happy to work and get a new home ready for a Habitat recipient.

  • Bring Your Child to Work Day

Children of the Indesign staff come in and participate in a day of learning and fun. They actively participate in some areas and are given hands on 'work' during the day.

  • Local School Support

    Local School Museum Build
Indesigners volunteered their time, expertise, equipment and enthusiasm in helping the students of a local elementary school build a museum dedicated to local myths and legends in the school lobby.

    Tutoring and Mentoring
Through the local school system we participate in a tutoring and mentoring program with elementary through high school aged children. Several Indesigners spend regular time during the school year assisting these students. The benefits go both ways—Indesigners enjoy giving to the students as much as the students benefit from time spent working on school work.

    Facility Tour for Local School
Through the local school system we organize student tours through our facility. This enables students to get an idea of what it means to be an engineer.

  • Julian Center

The Julian Center is a local shelter for victims of domestic violence. They not only shelter these victims but help them get back on their feet. They have a food pantry to help in that effort. Indesigners generously give groceries for the pantry to help keep it stocked.
