Indesign has developed many devices that communicate and interface to other products. Our design team has extensive experience with the implementation of a wide variety of protocols that enable these devices to connect and then communicate their information. Our designers have a background with both wired and wireless communication protocols. Indesign's engineering team has designed numerous products that utilized a wired interface like USB, Ethernet, or CAN. Other times a wireless functionality was desired; in those cases an industry standard protocol such as WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, or others were used. But for some products an industry standard protocol wasn't the best choice. In those instances our design team implemented a custom wireless protocol optimized for the product and its application.

There are many design concerns when including communication protocols and interfaces in products. Our engineers have years of experience designing the high speed circuitry needed to support various protocols, including proper PCB layout techniques and signal integrity analysis. Connections to the outside world and other equipment can potentially cause a product to be susceptible to EMI and ESD. Indesign electrical engineers can architect a system design with these considerations in mind so that these potential problems can be mitigated from the beginning of the design process.
